Does anyone have a recurring dream? I have one quite often that i am in a multi-story car park and cannot find my way out no matter which way i go. Sometimes i am walking, other times i am in the car - either way, I can't get out. Think this might say something about my life!!

yes I do

mine is tha I am living in my house and there is some room that (for whatever reason ) I will not enter. It normally contains showers)

I have had a recurring dream for years and it actually starts at the house where our milkman lives !
He lives in a cottage with a stream running past and I dream that I am walking along the side of the stream when a miniature railway station appears. I get on a train and it takes me to a church. I walk through the church and out into a beautiful garden. The last gravestone at the bottom of the path has my name on it, then the garden turns into a huge field with a mansion in the distance. I walk to the mansion but when i get there it is derelict...then i always wake up at that point ! Very weird !!
I have a recurring dream and it's a bit like dove's except that it's not in my house. It can be in a strange house which I don't recognise but there is a room that I have been advised not to go into - there is this aura of sheer terror about the room. On one occasion I did go in and it was a very ordinary bedroom but the feeling of dread was so strong I was aware of going really cold in the dream. It really is very disturbing.
bensmum, that sounds like a house my mums friend was staying in ! She was looking after a house for a couple while they were away and me and my mum visited her and she showed us round this (very big) house. It was all very cosy till she got to a door that was on the other side of the house and when she opened it I froze and all the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. It felt like pure evil even though there was nothing to pinpoint it. It looked normal but I sensed very bad vibes.
In my recurring dream,(maybe 3/4 times a year for as long as i can remember) i am often in a situation with a number of people in company, i show of with my ability to fly, i really feel myself having to concentrate before i can feel myself leave the ground and often once i'm 'airborne' i am able to dash over the roof tops but regularly having to be careful to avoid overhead electric cables etc, - it's a wonderful dream and the feeling of flight is so realistic.
Erdinger, that sounds good !
Erdinger, hope you don't sleepwalk too or you may end up flying off the top of the roof lol !!
jillius - that sounds spot on! In fact reading your post made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I wonder what it is about certain areas and why I dream about it on a regular basis.
I used to dream about getting married, but something always got in the way. Ketchup on the dress, I couldn't finish my hair, no limo, the church is locked, etc. Have not had that in years, just about the time I realised it was OK to be alone.

As a kid I would dream that we were our dodge colt station wagon and driving along and suddenly the road becam like a roller coaster:Up, Up, Up and just as we would reach the peak I would wake up. My father (the a-hole) was always driving.
I wish Ab would open a link just for dreams! (someone else has requested that in the past too)

Yes I have ONE recurring DREAM (which I've had since I was around 9) but beside that I have a recurring THEME in my dreams...most of my dreams contain water. The depth, verocity, colour and activity of the water always correspond to my emotions at that particular time...(ie Stormy, calm, deep)
