Does anyone suffer form the same recurring nightmares that they had from childhood? Are these dreams manifestations of fears or just random thoughts? When you think about it dreams are a weird phenomena, is there any explanations to why we have them as there seem to be many forms from the message from beyond the grave to being chased to being part of a great adventure. I'm very intrigued by them and would like a better insight into the workings of the human brain when we dream.

Thanks jno, it's a fascinating subject and one that I will delve deeper into, I've found what appears to be a interesting forum on the matter so I think I'll join up and see whether anyone there can enlighten me.
