This may sound stupid but do politicians get to vote?

Yes they do, on election day there are always photo shoots of the main protagonists grinning like Cheshire cats and stating how confident they are of victory as they place their vote

Yes they are allowed to vote for themselves, you often see them on the telly being the first to put their vote in the ballot box.  Only the queen and people in prison cannot vote.
