when i was younger so much younger than today i thought she looked old and fat!!.................. but alas i am now middle aged and crikey wasnt she a stunner!!!

i thought she was a very under rated actress as far as her cinema films we concerned

Does anyone have a copy of the book she did that was an A - Z of men? We used to have a copy and I can't find it anywhere. Some of her comments were so classic, especially about men she actually knew.

Hi ruge, She was a very good actress,and very underated to see how good she was watch an old black and white film called "Kid for two farthings" she was superb, she also had great sense of humour.

watching back all the old open all hours i perhaps would find nurse gladys a very attractive woman.....

however......... my kids watch a program with her in now and she is rather old for me, but she has aged well!!

Nicecupof tea - i have the book you mentioned, as well as most of her other books and an excellent book about her. I'm a big DD fan. Her books are soooooo hard to get hold of! i found most of mine on Ebay and i charity shops.
