i have just purchased a second han van and hopefully my cover note will be here tommorow so i can tax it?

i have just noticed its only just over a week till the new month? i have heard of a new car having 12 months and 1 week tax but can i get that for a second hand one?

No, you will either have to wait until 1st July and tax it from then (in which case you obviously can't drive it) or get it tomorrow and have it backdated from 1st June.

As CheekyChops says, you either wait a week or waste 3 !.

Only you know if its a waste (at �99 per 6mnths for example) it boils down to about �12 for the 3 weeks. Thats nothing if you need your wheels.
