why wud i want to put yogurt up me..you mite want to but i dont .. making it better or not.. ill go the doctors and get it sorted Thanx,
While your there get them to check the other problem you have posted about futher up.
thought going to the doctors was something you didnt want to do?
Natural yoghurt is a well known remedy for thrush and is always worth a try.
It does sound nasty but the natural bacteria in "live " not just natural yoghurt fights off the fungus and other bugs in that area. You can sort of apply it using a tampon if you wish. Iam sorry to be graffic but it is a recognised treatment. It must be live yoghurt (shame on you johnlambert) as it contains the good bugs.
Why shame on me?
I've never had a fungal infection, and I was an Army medic, more used to tyreating gunshot wounds, traumatic amputation and blast injuries etc
You do also have to be careful using tampons outside of your period. They can cause Toxic Shock Syndrome.

nb you dont leave the tampon in. its just to push the yoghurt inside. If you dont fancy that though you can get a lactic acid wash from the chemists.

no1 wants to do things they have to..ive told my mum now and shes comin with me. and we think its
bacterial vaginosis
Nobody said you had to do anything. You asked for advice and we gave it. A little more appreciation wouldn't go amiss.
Hey, I was an Army Medic too! US Army though.

i do appreciate your answers. no1 knows how people meen to say things as its typed not spoken. sorry
Sorry johnlambert my interpretation of a medic was obviously a bit off. (I can fully appreciate how your knowledge of fungal infections is a bit out.and agree the blast injuries, gunshots, and traumatic amputations would be more usefull) No offence intended.
My little sis in army but I pray she never has to meet a medic up close and personal like!!!
