I'm a newbie to owning a computer. It has only small memory so was trying to make some space by deleting unwanted files. Have somehow managed to delete all games which came already on the computer. Kids not happy! Anyone any ideas how I can get them again?

Are they in your recycle bin? Click it from the desktop and see.
If you dont know what your doing DONT delete anything.

You say it has small memory, what memory.

Real memory (RAM) or hard disk memory.
This might do the trick, left click on start then click on help and support then click on restoring system then follow the instructions to restore the system to a previous date when you know that the games were working.Hopeffully there will be a few highlited dates on the little calender that pops up when you can restore to.Let us know how you got on. Kev.....
Yes try a system restore. But this really depends on what you actually deleted. vehelpfulguy is as usual not very helpful. He should change his name to vepatronisingguy in my opinion.
Now now Kerplunk...
Remember what Dumbo's Mother said - or was it Bambi's Mother?
"If you can't think of anything to say that's nice then don't say nothing at all."
Hey there king kong is that the words to a robbie williams song or am I on the wrong track here I know "say nothing at all" is a classic line out of some song but cant quite think of it is it wet wet wet by any chance as they spring to mind yea sure it is wet wet wet deal or no deal
Whoops sorry flopsy for getting of the subject how you doing on the games front and of course it depends on what operating system you have if you say you only have a small memory then you are probbably not running windows xp do you have windows 2000, windows millenium or god forbid windows 98 if yo have 98 then please bin it....
I was not being patronising, I think for a new computer user, suggesting they dont delete anything until they know what they are doing is good advice.

I also asked if he was low on real memory, or hard disk memory.

If it is a new PC I would be surprised if it was low on hard disk memory as most PCs now come with very large hard disks.

And dont say "as usual I am not very helpful". I have lost track of the people who have thanked me for helping them fix their computer and technical problems on this site.

Suggest you look at this below as an example, EIGHT very technical answers to the one comlex question.
