retrieving deleted files.

I know this is a long shot, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I recently deleted some files from a flash memory stick and realised that some of the files that I deleted are still needed. I don't suppose that there is any way of retrieving deleted files. I know that they are most likely premanently deleted and lost for ever. Like I said, it's a long shot.
Thanks

I'm definately not a techno wiz but if you google 'retrieving deleted files from memory stick' there seems to be lots of different sites offering software that will do this.

I'm sure someone will tell you that there is an easier way, there usually is!!
the trick isn't finding this type of software ....
it's finding a free version.

lots of "free download" .... demo only - $45 working version

and then ... as you say no guarantee

I've never had much trouble recovering files after a normal 'delete'. (Of course, if you've used security software with a 'destroy' mode, the situation might be different).

Try this:

and/or this:
