Europe should be ONE country, with ONE government and ONE currency.  Then we can forget about all the nonsense over national democracies, simply because such nations will no longer exist.

As an aside, despite the fact that the Express has always been pro-Brexit (and one might therefore assume that the majority of their readers would be too), the poll on that page about whether the UK should rejoin the EU or not is currently showing 61% in favour and 39% against.

I don't know which poll that refers to but, again, figures would depend upon who's asked.
