Illegal Immigrants Poem
I cross ocean, poor and broke,
Take bus, see employment folk.
Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to see welfare.
Welfare say, "You come no more,
We send cash right to your door."
Welfare cheques, they make you wealthy,
NHS it keep you healthy!
By and by, I got plenty money,
Thanks to you, British dummy.
Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them 'come fast as you can.'
They come in turbans and Ford trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks
They come here, we live together,
More welfare cheques, it gets better!
Fourteen families, they moving in,
But neighbour's patience wearing thin.
Finally, white guy moves away,
Now I buy his house, and then I say,
"Find more aliens for house to rent."
And in the yard I put a tent.
Send for family they just trash,
But they,too,draw the welfare cash!
Everything is very good,
And soon we own the neighbourhood.
We have hobby it's called breeding,
Welfare pay for baby feeding.
Kids need dentist? Wife need pills?
We get free! We got no bills!
Britain crazy! He pay all year,
To keep welfare running here.
We think U.K. darn good place!
Too darn good for the white man race.
If they no like us, they can scram,
Got lots of room in Pakistan.

Dassie, the white population of Pakistan is negligible, the poem refers incessantly to "the white man" and is clearly supposed to be written from a non white perspective, if you haven't understood even that why are you jumping up and down congratulating him on posting it, since it's yet another thing you don't seem to understand? Just read it properly.
Madarlow, my blood pressure never goes over what it should be, certainly not over what other people think, who are of course entitled to their opinion, nor am I perpetually offrended, but I am in this instance, and I don't think I need your permission to be so, and neither do all of the other reasoned people who have posted that they too have found it offensive, or is it ok for them to be offended yet not me? I'm slightly confused by your reply to B00, indicating she's allowed to be offended and I'm not in your little world. Working on the principle of equality as I do in my yogourt knitting, left wing, freedom for all utopia , I don't quite understand what the difference is, so maybe you'd like to enlighten us?

you are right, its a silly little poem, nothing to make a big deal about.
however
1) its not funny
2) its not original
3) its clogging up the body and soul section, when it has nothing to do with either
4) its not a question, and this is a question and answer site
5) mnko writes his posts from a white male perspective (nothing wrong with that if you are a white male, however, im guessing more than 1/2 this site isnt white or male and so find his "jokes" about women/periods/nagging mother in laws/nagging wives/immigrants a bit off colour) and while he makes his views on women and immigrants so clear i dont see anything wrong with making my views about his posts clear : i dont find them funny

Little Britain isn't a good example..considering what it is actually doing is taking the pee out of racists/homophobes etc ~ hasn't everyone got the irony of LB yet??

Pippa - I certainly have got the brain to understand the irony of Little Britain.
BUT - there are people and I hate so this now - they are mostly foreign - who don't understand the irony.
I had 2 french guys working with me - they absolutely hated Little Britain because they did not understand what it was all about. So should LB be banned because it could offend the people who do not understand the irony?
I just feel that this here has been taken far too seriously!

Fee - my pleasure - I love to look after the ones that need looking after.
My "mostly foreign" comment was very well thought through, as I was referring to the irony in LB. Nothing is harder to translate than irony, it is very difficult to understand if one's english is limited and that is mostly the case if you were not born and bred in the UK or an english speaking country ...but to understand that one has to be a bit broader minded my dear.
Just chill and stop picking holes...
