Am I right in assuming that a TV licence is for BBC only?  If I don't watch BBC channels, BBCiplayer or listen to BBC radio stations then I do not have to buy a licence?

I realise this would be difficult to prove, but can I disable BBC on my TV set?

No. It's all programmes.

It is all LIVE programmes, so even if shown on Amazon live you cant watch it.

You can watch all on demand & catchup so lone as you dont use iPlayer (So no BBC catchup).

I havnt had a licence since covid as we got sick of the ludicrous news coverage and rtelised we watched very little live apart from that, dont miss it.
