This BBC one off show is to be held at Clacton-on-Sea on june 22nd to mark the seventh anniversary of the EU Referendum. Only Brexit voters will be allowed in the audience. Any who voted remain ,..stay away . How are they going to prove which way they voted. ....Absolutely Outrageous.

//22:45 It was probably the most debated and informed subject in History. Hard to see how anyone could have been under informed.// That maybe - but as you know, Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and David Davis [and many others] on the topic of Brexit, were talking complete Bolloxx. And I can assure you that many Brexit voters believed them.

To echo our resident trolls oft used comments. 'Oh Dear'
Oh dear, apparently Question Time (and Fiona Bruce) did exactly this back in October 2021 – but one vote-leave audience member did not get the message from TTT, NJ and all on AB.

I did not say the result was suspect and nor did i say that it ought not to have been implemented… those are not things that i think

i do however think brexiters should not be allowed to dominate the conversation about brexit given that their victory was so slender…

i understand that remainers need to get it through their head that they lost the referendum… but brexiters also need to understand that half the voters didn’t want it and have every right to say so if they wish

I didn't suggest for one minute that you did. I was answering gulliver's post at 1446 and 1504 who did suggest the referendum was suspect. Ok?
I wonder if Fiona Bruce will ask the audience whether any of them believed that there would be no downsides to Brexit, only considerable upsides (David Davis), or that all those who say that there will be barriers to trade with Europe if we were to do a Brexit, it is totally and utterly absurd (Boris Johnson) – or for that matter, anything Nigel Farage said.

And maybe as a follow up question, whether Davis, Johnson and Farage should apologies for their lies, if anyone fooled by them voted for Brexit.
hymie 22:16, you keep referring to "lies" can you give us an example of some of them.
It's not true democracy if the electorate is as badly informed as they were over Brexit.
22:45 It was probably the most debated and informed subject in History. Hard to see how anyone could have been under informed.
I think the reason that only Brexit voters will be there is to find out just how many of them regret voting Brexit and how do they feel now . How many would want to return to theEU etc.
Should be an interesting Question Time.

This.....Question time , should be worth watching .Can't wait to see if any remainers have managed to bluff their way into the audience.

Whereas remainers( and I was one) never lied, exaggerated or engaged in project fear?? There was botox on both sides

Hymie @ 22.45 Gotto give you BA for that one .
..........Like the way you have spelt it also.
TTT,

Debated maybe but not understood. Do you really believe the majority of voters knew about the different kinds of Brexit, for example, and. if so, why were they not able to state a preference?
There is only one kind of brexit.
^Ditto. Leave means leave. Look it up, Hymie.
TTT and Naomi:
Do you think that Brexit has happened? In other words, do you think we have "Left"?
I see TTT and naomi are being (deliberately?) obtuse. You both have an extremely simplistic view of the world.
Realising that the promised sunlit uplands of Brexit will never arrive – it’s all the Brexiteers have left; that we have left.
