The above is part of rule 16, is there any reason why this doesn't apply to the news section as well?

Let me bump this for you, Vulcan, the pack's obviously missed it, them being in hot pursuit already today.
Because they don't want zero threads in the news forum.
God knows,Vulcan. The News section on AB seems to be a cross-section of political parties and their supporters. The more censorship on AB,the less ABers will post,or come onto this site.
VULCAN, do you report posts in the News category when you believe that rule has been broken?
I used to go into the news section to find out if there was anything major happening that I ought to know about, rather than having to trawl through the new channels. Now however there is no point, because there is very little actual news its just mostly one poster making blatantly untrue statements then when pulled up about them just carries on with yet another diatribe, rather like the drunk bloke in the pub who you think has shut up, takes a swig from his pint, then turns round and starts the conversation all over again.
because posters in those categories need straight factual answers; posters in News come to argue.
Yes bang on Lanks, most of the posts are from 2 people on the same subject everyday. Those who can still be bothered refute their BS everyday and they then repeat it the next day or in some cases later the same day. News has become ground hog day for a couple of trolls.
aren't we due yet another scintillating thread about PMQ, Tora? It's been days...
That's once a week at best jno and it's topical.
JNO, do you not know it's, "Do as I say, not as I do."?
jno: I last did a PMQs thread on wed 10th.
in the last week...
Gully has done 12 threads 11 on Tories 1 brexit
Hymie has done 4 threads 3 on Brexit 1 on the tories.
Can you not see this trolling it's killing the news section and the site?
