I reckon the three posters above have seen the Beeb muck up something they know about,
and then an icy claw grasps their heart as they realise the vast majority is crap.

todays foo-foo was saying that the french supreme court ( conseil constitutionelle reellement) had OK'd the retirement age reduction when in fact they had said, macron cd do it by decree alone

Tv is an extremely pervasive influence, fed into households almost 24/7. An example of the theory that, if you feed enough people enough *** for long enough , they will come to believe that *** is good.

Here in the SW I used to watch Spotlight for local news.
It is now full of sport and interviews with obscure people. Five minutes of local news if you are lucky. Given up on it.
