Barry is the fresh stuff easy to find in your neck of the woods? It is where I live.
I use that rarely.
Jj I was advised by my GP to take a recommended Pureis Cdb oil and use tumeric in cooking. He knows I can't take prescription painkillers of any strength and he obviously knows my medications. Please see a gp before buying tumeric or any other herbal or spice supplements.
Yes it is, there are a few continental and Asian supermarkets that sell the sort of things Tesco doesn't
Morrisons often has it, I use it if I can get it as you need so much less. I have also tried dyeing with it it seemed to fix quite well with salt and it's cheap as chips compared to saffron.

MissTerious. Re the CBD oil do you rub it on your pain or swallow it

Thanks everyone for your replies
JJ you take it in drops under your tongue. Advised to leave 1 minute before swallowing. But check with with GP first. You need to beware. Some oils do not pass the standards. My gp recommended Puris. It is expensive!
it is a spice
any indian shop
Interesting facts. About 1% of adults suffer from rheumatoid arthritis in the UK; about 1% suffer from it in India.

Turmeric is used a lot in Indian cooking and is also widely used as a cure-all in all sorts of pills and potions. It is not an exaggeration to say that people living in India consume turmeric most days of their lives.
JJ - before going down this road you really need to discuss pain issues with your GP.
Have you been diagnosed with 'bad knees' - I know when you asked about operations in the past for your knees you had not actually been diagnosed.

Yes I had x-rays of knees in city hospital and have arthritis in both of them
I really think you need to discuss this with your gp and get their opinion
