the night before last a neighbour drove home dunk
she lives 6 doors away.
but before she made it all the way home she crashed her car into my caravan which was parked next to the road outside my house
she has badly damaged my caravan and also the next-door neighbour's car
my question is
How do I claim from her insurance ?
Do I just go to her house and ask for her insurance details?
then contact her insurance company requesting a claim form ?

OK didn't know earlier in thread it's not insured. Good luck !
Please see 08:39, Sunday.
she could get in trouble for criminal damage so send her a letter asking for money if no reply get police involved gather all the info you can get from times and dates
come on boys and girls
the fact that an object is not insured
is irrelevant to whether the neighbour has to pay when she damages it
er in my opinion
08 39 - irrelevant - er in my opinion
( I have to put that in, as Naomi has certified it makes things MUCH clearer - to her, hur hur hur).

if she says she is not insured
good the loo loo comes out of your own purse then

I don't think "criminal damage" will work as there was no intent (I may be wrong).

But I do think she is culpable, so other suggestions here still stand.
