Guests due to arrive on Monday are being told to come on Tuesday, and those booked in over the weekend have been told to leave by 10am Monday morning.

One man said: "We are at the park now, and are staying for two weeks. What do you propose we do on Monday as we have nowhere to go, and it’s too far for us to drive home, and then drive back the next day?"

I've never been there and am never likely to go, but I bet those people won't be booking again.

That's disgraceful. They should perhaps just tell people that there won't be a housekeeping, restaurant or bar service and that they will have to buy their own food and drink from local shops the previous day.

We won't be discharging patients from their hospital beds and asking them to come back on Tuesday!
That's just ... weird.
I would think they would have a case for cancellation and free refund.

They cannot charge for what they refuse to provide.
How bizarre
It's not like they normally close on Bank Holidays, even ...
thousands of hospital appointments have been cancelled because of the queen’s funeral

Bizarre!
I love Center Parcs but that is pretty ridiculous.
Outpatient Clinics have been cancelled but acute services won't be interrupted.
Haven't thought it through very well, have they?!..
“ Outpatient Clinics have been cancelled but acute services won't be interrupted.L

well that’s alright then!
that's why they're called patients...
no bin collections in Southampton on the 19th either. I'm not quite sure why they're telling me this; I live in London.
I'm glad the NHS has your approval, untitled. By the way I've just had a bulletin from the Chief Exec to say that urgent Clinics will be going ahead and non-urgent (non-essential) will be postponed.
I think Centre PARC's have changed their mind.
I have never understood why surgeries, Health Centres etc. close on Bank Holidays.Do people never get ill on those days?
Just read that all guests already at CP can stay but those meant to arrive that day cannot
they can stay but they won't be fed. Weird thinking.

I do understand that some staff would like the day off to watch the funeral. It seems quite possible though that others aren't that interested and would happily work if they can add the extra day to their annual leave at some convenient time. (I often used to work through Easter on this basis.)
Do people never get ill on those days?
yes: they go to Casualty as they usually do - - - ter daah !
