morning, Saturday and the weekend starts here. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today?
I am meeting a friend for coffee at 10.am then i might, dependent on the weather, walk up to the local church, where they have opened up today as a mark of respect for Her Majesty the Queen, with hopefully a book of condolence to sign.
Morning all, the sun is happening down here though it's supposed to cloud over this pm, a low chance of rain though, so on with the w-machine...a number of errands and thinking what to have for lunch....
Aim to do so - nothing planned until later - coffee, paper and then watch the Accession Ceremony - apparently there's a right bun fight going on as there are far too many Privy Councillors for the space in st James' Palace... and also are you are that Liz Truss hasn't yet been ratified by them as that meeting got cancelled on Wednesday....
KC ought to get some culling under way, never mind not giving Harry and MeMeghan's sproglets titles, there are more than 500 Privy Councillors - far, far too many.
Morning emmie and OPs. Due to the passing of our late Queen, the sporting calendar this weekend has been decimated. Thankfully the 3rd test is not a casualty and will resume at the Oval today. Unfortunately due to rain stopping play on Thursday, then yesterday's play being cancelled as a mark of respect, notwithstanding exceptional bowling from Ben & Co; This match as got a draw written all over it :-(
Indeed emmie, a draw looks almost a given. Should there be a book of condolence, I hope you don't have to wait in too long a queue. May your day be a productive one!
