I agree, Barker, Tuffers and Daws were much better.
I like Sue Barker, but IMO the show went wrong when it tried to be like Sky’s ‘A League of Their Own’
I must have missed that jo.
I can't help it but I don't much like change in most things. When the BBC got shot of the Sue team I winced. When I saw her replacement I blanched. Now I could not alter the issue BUT I could choose to do something for me. I have never watched Question of Sport since. So stuff you Mr BBC.
Should have just cancelled the show. Way past its best before date.
They should have got Amol Rajan - well, he does everything else
So, it's not just me then! I tried to watch the show in its new format, but had to give up after ten minutes!
A Question Of Geezerbloke more like.

Who needs knowledgeable sports folk when you've got the equivalent of a stag night in yer local 'Spoons?
The BBC seem hellbent on this bizarre notion that if you replace a host on radio or TV with someone younger, that means a younger audience will tune in.

Once again the fallacy of this nonsense is proved.

People who didn't watch AQOS previously are not going to tune in because you being in an unsuitable replacement whose only claim to suitability is being younger than the person he is replacing.

What does happen, is that the people who did watch, stop watching anyway.

Result, failure.

Please listen out when this unassailable piece of logic is proven yet again when Scott Mills replaces Steve Wright.

What's wrong with these people?

I am not a six-figure BBC executive and I can see it.

Why can't they?
Went downhill after Stuart Hall stopped hosting it.
i liked it as it was with Sue Barker, Tuffers and Daws, it was safe viewing and a likeable line up. I haven't watched the new team as i don't like Paddy McGuinness.
What annoys me the most is that northern accent......Torkyor, Ugor, etc! "....on the shore tonight!" - aaaarrrrgggghhhh!
gromit: "Went downhill after Stuart Hall stopped hosting it. " - ironically that was only one episode, the pilot and that was only shown in the north, that's when they could have used a presenter with a northern accent!
never watched it, never would
That's true to form by the BBC .

As soon as a few wrinkles begin to show on a female's presenter's face - get rid of her
Watched a third of one episode with PM, never again. It's turned into a game show. Sue Barker was effectively sacked and told to lie about it, she's 'retired' from commentating on Wimbledon so it couldn't happen again.
I see that TTT is, once again, annoyed by the Northern accents.
Of course Cockney, Essex and Estuary accents are SO much more pleasing on the ear, innit?
I've always enjoyed the programme & have nothing against Paddy, Sam or Ugo, but the format has been changed so much that - for me - it's now unwatchable.

Interminably long rounds of questions with the teams given much too long to answer, stupid games (sliding discs across the floor etc) & far too much chit-chat in general. Bring it back to a halfway-decent quiz & the viewers might return.
If only Arthur Mullard were alive still...
Andy Hughes, Steve Wright is overdue for replacing.
However Scott Mills? Really?

Once again if a DJ is too old for R1 they are found a slot on R2.

If they had to stay internal, then OJ Borg would have been better.

However I think they should emulate top football teams and buy in the best.

I would have taken Andy Bush from Absolute Radio and given him the afternoon slot.
