Johnson insisted that he did not know about specific allegations.. ministers repeated this because that's their job, and said they had been told this by No. 10 (see Will Quince's interview).

Then a few days later Johnson claimed that he did know about allegations, but that they had been resolved or were not formalised...

Then after that when Lord McDonald published his letter, johnson admitted that he had been briefed about specific allegations but that he had forgotten....

it is hard to keep up with johnson's changing stories i know but he was indeed giving ministers lines that proved to be untrue a few days later

//he was indeed giving ministers lines that proved to be untrue a few days later//

He wasn't 'telling' them to lie though, was he, as you claim. That's a lie. And you, like the rest, so squeaky clean too.

I expect he had forgotten - after all he has rather more on his mind than holding down a mundane job, what's on telly tonight, his forthcoming week in Benidorm, and getting a ticket for next Saturday's football match. As with anything that can be readily checked, there's no point in lying. That's common sense - something that's clearly in short supply among spiteful people who are determined to make of everything the very worst they can.

I can only hope when Gulliver says 'End of' he means end of his relentless prattle.
^And yours.
if you believe boris johnson forgot about it then you'll believe anything

"He wasn't 'telling' them to lie though, was he, as you claim. That's a lie. "

He told them to repeat things on national television and radio that he must have known were not true... he has never denied making jokes in the past about Pincher being "handsy" and "pincher by nature"... he obviously knew.

Having been a 'newcomer' and having joined AB only 20 days ago, you seem to be very familiar with everyone else's personalities & views.
