I was talking on my mobile when it suddenly died so I put it on charge. But nothing happened. And my phone charges really quickly. So I’ve just about managed to enlarge the screen and it says it’s 100% charged. But I can’t see anything!! The screen has somehow dimmed to being unreadable. I haven’t gone into settings or anything so how can I brighten the screen again?? It’s. Samsung Galaxy S7.

Turn it off and then turn it on again.

If that doesn't work, drag the screen down from the top and hopefully you'll be able to make out the screen brightness icon and drag the slider across.

You genius!! Thankyou! Xx
That happened to me a couple of times. First time, somehow had brightness turned right down. 2nd time, my son told me to turn it off for a while and turn back on. Sometimes it freezes up. It worked. Good luck.

I honestly thought phone was broken. It’s never happened before. I love this site!!
If it happens again, Smow, you'll be able to see the screen better if you are in the dark - makes it easier to adjust the brightness if you can see what you're doing.
