With a bit of luck, she'll have snapped a few tendons in her hand when she fell.

//I think it's Andy Hughes//

Anything to stop people from altering their minds with that evil booze eh Tora? ☺
Thank God it wasn't Waitrose..
Mozz, it was TIC and I know Andy has a sense of humour!
patsy, that would have had me crying!
//Stange-Alvarez was also told she would have to pay Aldi £5000 in compensation and court costs of £85. //

Yeah - I bet she does!
when I first met the current Mrs TTT on one of our dates we went to this not especially posh boozer and had a bottle of the most delicious Conch Y Toro Merlot, I set myself the challenge of finding out who sells it, couldn't find it anywhere except Waitrose so I went there and bought the lot. We drank that for best part of a year after!
Tora @13:49, I know it was. If my post implied otherwise, then I apologise, as it was unintentional.
TTT, it's still only £6 a bottle, still on sale at Waitrose. Valentine's Day is coming up :D
So, now that all Aldi has to do is to get their compensation from a mentally-disturbed person. Easy-peasy!
I hope she is now getting the treatment she was crying out for on that day in 2020 when she committed this act.

Also that she's paid or is paying the compensation and hopefully the story will stop resurfacing in the media some time soon.
To be fair it can be a bit annoying when they announce that they're closing the aisle you're heading for.
Thank gawd it was only wine and not the beer.
Only the wine!!!!! Only!!!!!! Tut!
What are you doing up gness - is it daylight in Ireland ?
To be serious, I think it's a bit sad that she was just left to get on with it.

Either she needed help and should have been approached, or she was a moronic vandal that should have been tackled. Either way where were the staff?
Mind in overdrive, Baz. Decorating all day with a slight problem to overcome so as Dave gently snores I’m listening to Audible and working on a way around the problem. Don’t settle til it’s sorted. I’m a fidget.
No daylight…..we live in a dark sky reserve….black as coal here….just bliss.
