ToraToraTora, using acronyms to avoid the swear filter.

Ah right
Do posts with bar steward get deleted then ?
Genuine question as I have seen one somewhere recently on a thread
Often see the word tit as well but the filter blocked out ***(cockney rhyming slang for hat in case it goes again) when I used it recently
See what I mean ? ?
Rhymes with sifter and is not a swear word !
There will be the odd word that gets blocked because it contains a banned word but the EDs might be able to tweak the filter for your word.
does anyone mind if - during this linguistic battle - point out that - - the cockney for hat does not rhyme with sifter
but DOES rhyme with Mitford ( sort of, if you say it funny out the side of your mouf)

I say this only to clarify the issue for some readers - and assist
So how on earth does the AB swear filter leave in the word tit by itself but blocks it out when fer is added on the end ?

Madness !
Sifter sounds closer than Mitford
Surely ?

Let us hope that nothing newsworthy happens in Scunthorpe then ? Lol
I don't think the swear filter is entirely English based in its programming and odd anomalies occur.
If folk are that bothered, contact the EDs and leave it at that.
A search for Scunthorpe which always gets mentioned, gets over a thousand hits. I wouldn't worry about that one.
But is advanced enough to filter out Cockney rhyming slang ?
Lol ok !
No one mentioned 'advanced' and I doubt it is.

You'd need to speak to the techies now the thread has changed direction.

It was not meant as a sleight at you
I was pointing out the irony that as you say it is not entirely English based but can filter out cockney slang ! Lol
Sometimes there is no logic :-)
