Finding ourselves with ample time in the afternoons to indulge in a little binge-watching, the present Mrs Hughes and I have embarked on Line Of Duty, we are through Series One and have just started Series Two.

I know we are late to the party, but we have discovered one thing - they don't mess about do they!!!!!

No they don't!
Brilliant acting with great story lines. Hope you and your wife are enjoying it.
Depends what you mean by 'mess about'.

Stay tuned for shagfest and feet of clay.
the present Mrs A - oh dear - are you thinking of changing her
or do you mean present as " in the room" altho not necessarily listening to your every word ?

I mean that neither the anti-corruption team, or the criminals they chase, waste any time in doing drastic things to ensure that matters finish up the way they wish.

No spoilers please!!!!!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is the present Mrs H - and I'll get back to you on that.

She absolutely does listen to my every word - how could she not??
I've started watching it again. 4th time watching now!
its brilliant, back on 21st march for series 6.
LOD is brilliant. Mrsjan and me have been binge watching Killing Eve and Unforgotten as well both equally brilliant.
The story lines are ridiculous tbh, but it doesn’t really matter due to the brilliant way it’s done.
The police refused to cooperate with consultancy but they have had a few “unofficial” helping hands.
Really looking forward to the new series next Sunday. Love it.
WARNING: this site is riddled with spoilers but is a perfect way for those who don't have time to watch all the previous series to refresh their memories before the start of the new series. Full of humour, too.

Andy, i always found the tension generated by some of the face to face interviews was so palpable i felt exhausted after watching them. Almost as if Hastings and Co were interrogating me ;-))
We are so blessed to have some really great scriptwriters and Jed Mercurio is right up there with the best of them.
Sit back and enjoy the show.
How on earth the character Ryan Pilkington manages to get into the police so apparently effortlessly despite last appearing as a juvenile delinquent in series one was something I found hard to accept :-)
