When I heard Matt Hancock say this morning , we are well prepared for distribution of the vaccine. I pictured ice cream bicycles with their attached fridges pulling up outside the care homes. The last time he said we were well prepared was back in March. :0(

you don't care for Hancock fine, many may not, but the roll out is a good thing, you may not trust the government fine, but in my opinion they have done what they can. One hope surely that it goes smoothly,

Yes NJ you could be right? but we had the military on stand by for the PPE, but there was none to deliver. Could the same happen? every possibility I would think.
Hopefully you'll come back in a few months and say you are pleased to say you were wrong so well done to everyone involved from the goverment to army to vaccine suppliers and distributers to NHS and care home staff
its going to take a long time to roll this out, some hitches are bound to happen.

Er.. I wasn't wrong when a few months ago on here I said I had every faith in the global effort to make a vaccine, when a lot on her disagreed with me. My only concern at the moment is a price war!!
Though there may be hitches along the way, after all this is a huge undertaking - I'm sure most of your worries are unfounded.

Or panic buying :0))))
apparently NS said that she had a lump in her throat, so not just Matt Hancock then.

well you started the thread with your anti British sneering.
its not the time for bickering, but to looking forward.
I'm not sure what else you would expect him to say teacake - he's not going to shrug his shoulders and say "Some sort of vaccine is here, i can't really be bothered to find out about it, so please yourselves ..." is he?

As for your picturing ice cream bicycles, I do wonder what brought that image to mind ...

13.47 I was trying to help Matt with some ideas of how to get the vaccine to care homes. If they supply the local nurses with a ice cream bike, they could cycle up to the care home, ring their bell, then the residents could rush out on their zimmer frames to be vaccinated job done.
I can quite understand the OP's remarks - after all we're talking about the Government who employed a ferry company which didn't have any ships.

I sincerely hope the vaccine distribution is in safer hands.

Mirrors ehh. Best avoided first thing then.
Question Author
You shouldn't really mention the Mirror, TTT is having a bad day as it is today.
