I think we may be about to witness something extraordinary with regards to the USA election.

It would appear that two years ago, Trump declared a “national emergency” to deal with foreign and domestic election interference. It was enacted under an Executive Order called “Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election” and was signed by him on 12th September 2018:

In essence, this gives him unprecedented powers to investigate and prosecute electoral fraud.

There's a long and detailed article here that goes into much more depth about it:

Hitler, Stalin pol pot .
Dear me. I bet no-one can top that.
ichi. //The man no more stands for the values of America than Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot.//

I have repeated that, so no one should miss what is perhaps the most idiotic posts I have ever seen on AB (& I've seen a lot).

Did you forget to take your meds this morning?
If the election fraud gets past Scotus, won't Biden have a lame duck presidency? (thank goodness)
“ Hundreds of thousands of Biden votes turned up in the middle of the night”

Lots of the later votes were Biden votes. The graphs, if that’s what you mean, reflect that.

Now you know what it feels like to be me :-)
If this game of pin the tail on the donkey is intended to make everyone blind to the elephant in the room . . . it appears to be working.
Apologies if I left out “crook” by the way.

Tho that’s probably covered by “fraudster” :-)
From whichever side you look at it, if all of this Covid/Trump denial has taught you anything it should be that there are a lot of stupid people out there. From my perspective I'm standing here watching the stupid trains pass by . . . in both directions.
- nor would I wager that they're not both on the same track.
With the various lawsuits falling flat, we're now apparently moving to plan C, which is to directly court the various officials in the key states that can overturn or refuse to certify the results, and get them to do just that.

All based on zero evidence of course, so just a straightforward attempt to overturn the election result on the grounds that he lost.

So far it appears they're not buying it. Knock on wood.
// Nice to see Jim back to his absolutely positive, bullish best.
He put a brave face on it on election night but one could tell he was thoroughly deflated, like all Biden supporters, as he wearily wended his way to bed.
And then a miracle happened. ... //

Spicerack's post isn't completely wrong but certainly an exaggeration. I went to bed on election night disheartened that it was so close, or at least so much closer than I'd hoped. That's not at all the same as feeling deflated and, in a sense, resigned to a Trump victory. And, besides, it was already known that Biden would have secured a majority of postal ballots, and that, in many states, these ballots would be counted later. The idea that there was a "miracle", then, is fanciful.
I should also like to say that I don't share birdie's assessment of the Mueller report. In particular, the idea that Trump would have ever been impeached based on it is clearly nonsense, ignoring political realities that ought to have been made clear in 2020, if they weren't already: a lot of Americans love Trump, adore him, worship him, and Republicans are far too mindful of that to ever have voted to impeach. The entire saga of Impeachment was a farce, then, because its outcome was predetermined not from the evidence but from the politics, but if you listen to what Mueller said it is clear that, were Trump not protected by the office of Presidency, he would have pressed charges on Obstruction of Justice himself. The only reason he did not is that Mueller determined that the decision to charge a President with a crime is one for Congress alone.

The Zuck enters the fray. There is an express article which is so bizarre - I cd have written it.

the theme may be - Zuck contributed $1/2 bn to someone
They used it as specified which some people dont like
and may be against electoral law - or not. we dont know.
And someone else is suing

which doesnt amount to much
