We have chicken breasts in a homemade marinade (soy, honey, ginger, balsamic, hoisin and garlic), with roasted vegetables (tomatoes, onions, peppers and chicory) and swiss chard. The marinade will be reduced and poured over.
All I've eaten today is 1 oat and raisin cookie, a piece of chocolate cake, about 10 maltesers and 6 inches of Pringles. A disgustingly unhealthy day. Must do better tomorrow.
Did put a slow cooker stew on today as OH had a 2.30 hospital appointment. They cancelled it just as we were going to start out due to sickness of nurse. Rearranged for tomorrow 11.30.
Stew was good though, beef, potatoes, onion, swede, parsnips, leeks, sweet potatoes and carrots. Always like a bit of piccalilli with mine.
