I'm always on the lookout for reduced items, but the one I saw the other day was a laugh and a half. It was in M&S. See if you can get it. Will look in later tonight to see if anyone got it , if not will let you know. :0)

Christmas Cake, pudding, decorations,

Well I've never associated these with M&S, but within the food department there's was a small area given up to toiletries, just below the jars of pickles. On the self was a box of x 12 packets of durex, priced up at £15, reduced to £5. :0)
Was that because they were used ?
Ah mince pies mentioned above

I always seem to have fruit in the mince pies I buy and not meat

Should I complain next time ?
Question Author
11.05, well the box was sealed, but you would have thought they'd been flying off the self with the past lockdown. :0) Things must be bad at M&S

chocolate easter eggs?
I used to do a party trick where you stick one over your head, seal it just below the nose with your hand and blow it up.

For more impressive results use a strong one and put a hat on it :-)
sorry, just spotted the answer
Question Author
Could it be that because they were near the pickles, and they were reduced, someone could end up in a pickle using such an out of date product.
at my age i'd probably derive more pleasure from a chocolate easter egg
