Boy #1’s uni has cancelled all lectures but he’s been on placement with the ambulance service. He was due to be there until the end of the month but yesterday they cancelled all placements, so he’s coming home tomorrow (haven’t seen him since Christmas). To say I’m relieved is putting it mildly, he’s been to three call outs today and two off them involved corona virus patients :(

Good news for you , sherr. How does your boy feel about the placements being cancelled ?
you'll be mighty pleased and relieved to see him!!

Just don't nag him for not eating, don't tell him off for letting his hair grow/getting it shaved off x :-)
It’ll be lovely to see your boy again. He’s doing a great job.
Every cloud has a silver lining, your brood will be back around you.x
Hope he brings you some hand gel and a toilet roll like any good son would :-)

He’s not happy about the placement being cancelled because he doesn’t know how he’s going to get the required 600 hours done. He won’t have done anything mental appearance wise, he’s very clean cut, he eats better at uni than he does here, makes packed lunches and no take outs. He also has a bag of pasta that he’s fetching home.

Cherry on the top, I finish work at six tomorrow so we’re having a curry takeout (I’ve eaten v badly this week because of my work hours).
good news
remember - altho a muvva always worries - that young people are shaking off this disease very well

my nephew has just had it - aged 35 1.2 and sortta didnt notice
My son will be coming home next week. His uni has closed. He wanted reassurance from me that we're all healthy :-)

I think we are, last week no, but this week seems fine.
Great that you’re finally seeing him xx
I am glad you will be able to have him home.
Back safely with Mummy... :-)

The boy is home safe and sound :) Seems they had to cut the placement short as it was getting too dangerous for the students.

Good news that, sherr.

It is good news - the first thing he said was that he wanted to see if he could be become the community first responder for the village or find a way of getting supplies for isolated people (there’s quite a lot of older people around here).
Great news, sherrardk. You must be so relieved.....and proud of your lovely boy.

You have a proper hero there, sherr. A boy to be proud of.
