//Udy can't even give a consistent definition of 'socialism' throughiot this interview.//
That's because the terms socialism & communism are largely interchangeable in modern parlance.
Udy knows very well what it means; he's written the book!

Socialism is the theory or system of social organisation in which the means of production and distribution of goods are owned and controlled collectively or by the government.

If you quote Marx there is a slight difference it is, 'the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterised by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles', but that's all now theoretical.

I have no problem with defining religion btw
"Socialism is the theory or system of social organisation in which the means of production and distribution of goods are owned and controlled collectively or by the government. "

Says who ?

'The term ‘socialism’ has been used to describe positions as far apart as anarchism, Soviet state Communism, and social democracy; however, it necessarily implies an opposition to the untrammelled workings of the economic market. The socialist parties that have arisen in most European countries from the late 19th century have generally tended towards social democracy'

That is no definition, that is as vague as 'Brexit'.

Try one you evaded long ago Khandro, when asked to define what 'Judeo-Christian culture' means.
