As you pose the question I assume you believe we are not,pre Brexit, an Independent Nation. Why would you think that I wonder?

England has St Georges day to celebrate for those who actually remember and know it.

Aye and there is many a problem with that in my opinion, expressed on the happy st George day posts. Also it's quite the religious ideology. The political aspect of Independence would be very different to st Georges day.

Independence Days are usually celebrated by countries who were once ruled by another and have been given freedom to self govern. I don't think that's been the case in England for well over 1000 years (rough unsubstantiated guess) so not really appropriate.
