Why are you going mental ?
Because dear Smow are a caring mummy.

//teeny bit tipsy but ok//

Learn to untie those apron strings and have faith in your offspring's ability to look after themselves.

You should spend a week or three in the 1ozzy household, four grown up children that all live miles and miles away.
I'm forever telling Mrs Oz "let them make their own mistakes, let them run their own life"

We will always be there for them, but not always with them or looking over their shoulders.
And no it doesn't get any easier, I'm nearly sixty and my mum is nearly ninety, she still worries about me.
And I worry about her ;-)
How old is he?
You never stop worrying.

I don't worry so much about mine because he has round the clock care but when he goes to school I'll be worried about him being bullied, when he's old enough to go to the park by himself I'll be worried, when he goes on holiday for the first time I'll probably go demented with worry. Your kids are precious and you can't bear to think about anything happening to them ... and when you think about the society we're living in these days... its impossible not to worry.

I only have one child and he's my whole world. I'll never NOT worry.
Decent parents will always "worry".

Hiding that worry allows the children to grow with confidence in themselves.
You never stop worrying, but they get to an age when they can't work out why we never stop .....just because my two are both over 50 and one lives in Melbourne doesn't stop me worrying

He’s 19. I guess because it’s London and every time I read the news something awful has happened.
Smow that happens everywhere. It's only on the news because there is nothing else to report on.
He's got a wonderful mum, he's not daft, he'll be fine, but you will still worry. It's called being said wonderful mum. xxx
My kids are 18 and 20 and I worry until they're back indoors, it's what mums do. I'm probably worse over my son as the muggings and knife crime in and around London at the moment is shocking. He doesn't go out very often so I don't have it too bad.
even though my son is a grown man either living on the streets or god knows where, I constantly worry about him .
Mally..you have gone well beyond.. xx
Mally I agree with minty. He's made his choice.
what i'm trying to say is you never stop worrying about your children no matter how old xx
of course ! x
if i came home a teeny bit tipsy when i was a teenager my mother assumed i'd run out of money
Mallya, you have added worries we did not have.
