I play on-line word games (scrabble) with quite few people, mainly friends and family. However, recently quite a few from "abroad" have been coming on. They are, on the whole, males from the US. While I enjoy the games, I find they want to find out more about me - what's your name, where do you live, are you married, do you have children, what do you do for a living etc etc. So............ I'm Maggie, I'm 45 years old(!), I've been married for 25 years (!) and have three grown up children (!). I currently live in Albania with my husband who is on contract and I teach English as a second language (!). As you will realise, 75% of this is made up, but I have a lot of fun. Me bad!

I usually get 'Nigerian princes' coming on to my messenger, they soon scarper when I tell them I'm a 25stone truck driver called Dave haha

I think its the new members that are actually old members pretending to be new members so we don't think they are old members although mostly we do

Rowanwitch, I've been accused of working for the editor among other things. Personally I felt I needed to give an explanation,though really it was quite humorous to read the remarks until the editor had to get involved. The paranoia on here as to who people are or are not is incredible, I've never seen this on any other forum most just get on with it and don't really care. Think it must be an age/generation thing. Anyway I've answered your question OT, interesting question even if it seems to have flummoxed a few.
