Nope it isn't.Never had the 'X' factor and never will.
Just another unpolishable turd.

Plenty more in the sea.
i must live a sheltered life, i've never heard of him
Who decides that these people are "celebrities"? Like aelmpvw I've never heard of him. Mind you I've never watched the X Factor.
I've never heard of him either.

Who he?
Nor me...but who cares?

Pink Floyd wrote most of their songs off their trolley! Same with the Rolling Stones and dozens of other bands.

As long as they can perform on stage that's all that matters.

To reach their level of success, they have already proved that they can create lasting music, and perform it properly, personal indulgences notwithstanding.

In their day, if you couldn't do that, you vanished before you were even heard of.

Sadly, with the advent of 'celebrity' - people are catapulted into the public eye before they have had a chance to find out for themselves if they can hack it, never mind convince anyone else.

That's how someone like this, who clearly cannot handle the 'celebrity' thrust on him, has his failure writ large, and that will be the epitaph to his 'career', ended before it began.
This guy was forever hyper on stage. He's like a clockwork toy that cannot be stopped once wound up.

I stopped watching the X-Factor some time ago, but the 'clockwork toy' analogy probably still applies to anyone that makes it onto our screens!
Only know of him from reports of the last round of escapades - he's been given his chances and blown em.
Andy Hughes, yes, there's plenty more like him out there for sure.
He got on my nerves. So hyper!...
Ummmm @ 11:42 - "Pink Floyd wrote most of their songs off their trolley!" Must have been some good stuff they were on given they have sold almost 119 million records worldwide.

I think that observation can be fairly applied to the Syd Barrett section of the Floyd cannon, but everything since then, written by the rest of the band, has been done with musical talent probably far less aided by hallucinogenic influence.
