I like cotton jersey shorts and am having difficulty finding some to replace the ones I currently have which are about to fall apart.
I'd prefer to buy them from a shop where I could try them on rather than an online place.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ooh, sorry girlies, only just remembered about this, thanks for your answers.
The sport shop ones are too sporty, I'm looking for something a bit more feminine. They also tend to be too short for me, I like them to come about four inches above my knee and as I'm fairly tall and have long legs they just don't work.
Had a look at cotton traders and lands end to, nothing really suitable.
Looks like it's me in me knickers then....
Why not use the old ones as a pattern for making new ones?
I did that years ago - its a bit time consuming unpicking but you get exactly what you want and you can keep the pattern to make more later
Ha, I can't sew, knit, crochet, or do anything remotely like that Islay, I had a mum and sister who excelled at it so never needed to.
This is the woman who sent her boys to school with the hems of their long trousers stapled up...
Are you volunteering?? :)
Aww, thanks Margo. I really need to try them on in a shop though, I don't really like buying online as I've had a fair few disasters and hate parcelling stuff up to send back.
