Hi, is it legal to record a conversation in your own home in your absence. I am trying to sell my house and have very envious neighbours trying to sabotage the sale by arranging “Pretend” viewings, my estate agent is doing the viewings in my absence and I am recording purely for myself and no one else as I want to know which leads to follow and which to ignore as dishonest.

//// You, the eavesdropper are!! If you feel comfortable with doing that then I don't thing very highly of your moral standards. ////

So I take it from your post, you think that because I'm condoning listening to someone who's looking round my house, with possibly no intention whatsoever of buying it, then I have low moral standards??
If the fact that I'd like to differentiate between genuine and non-genuine viewings seems abhorrent to you, then I think you yourself must be more godly than God himself .... it's not like I'd be doing anything sinister with the recordings.

//// How many dreadful things are done under your "who's to know" banner ? ////

Well at least you brightened my day up .... seriously .... are you for real??
You think that as I'd be prepared to eavesdrop on potential time wasters looking round my house, then there's the possibility I'm doing other "dreadful" things under my, "who's to know" banner??

Sorry for repeating myself, but ...... seriously??

antonia "I am not a prastitoot " Sanchez was filmed with Mellor now Lord Mellor by a third party ( said to be Mossad ) and erm without consent
which was then leaked to the press and wrecked his career

I was replying to Khandro's answer .... which has since been removed, so my reply looks like nonsense now lol.
I was replying from the point of view of the OP .... so I can assure you we're not the same person :)
Declaration to whoever it is moderating this thread.
If I have another of my inoffensive posts removed, I shall leave AB for good.
