Strangely also works out at 1% for me too. You need to head over to crosswords, post 'how many letters and any placed' on every question and you'll slowly start reeling them in.

For some reason mine is 2%. I never get any in News (certainly not on the many anti Muslims threads). Crosswords is very hit and miss- on the few occasions when I get in first the BA often goes to someone who answers later. I answer quite a lot in Music but posters in there rarely return to award a best answer. I'm not bothered to get a best answer but at least it shows my answer has been seen

Percentages aren't fair!

'Best Answers' weren't introduced on AB until May 2007, so people who were members before that time could have posted thousands of accurate answers but with no chance of being awarded a 'BA', thus distorting their overall percentage figure.

I think Buenchico is saying the system has always counted Answers but only started counting Best Answers in 2007 so the ratio/percentage is not a true reflection. Yours at 1 in 13 is around 7.6 % which is stunning danny

and then dont get the damned reward - it goes to someone who has nasally written " whaaaaa...?" or somesuch

@cupid i think it's 1.1%.... but you have answered so many and i'm sure that you've helped many people. I wish i could give out more than one best answer sometimes as i often get some many good answers from one question
