My mistake. Sorry. Didn't realise that Dukes only related to colon cancer.
You will have a booking appt/clinic at the Christie
and they will go thro
what they want to do ( CT and RT )
and what the results are for your diagnosis - you have only said what operation they did and not what for

take in a recorder and ask if you can record it - I made notes
and you may wish to take a list of questions before hand

and yes christie have a good reputation
and you are in the best hands

retro's diag and experience is less useful for you in that he never had a uterus and so cant really have undergone hysterectomy ( in my opinion) .
In your case Baths, chemo isnt really an option you should consider refusing
Oh I don't know pp. Maybe baths will take advice from her surgeon ?
I think Baths surgeon's opinion is that "she should go and see s/o at the Christie".....

O baths remember that your notes are your data and you have a right to a copy of them,
and remember to ask the doctor at Christie to copy you in to letters to your GP o and remember that your GP is the lynchpin or pivot of your treatment for the next few years

o and there will probably be some drugs that the doctors say that you will have to get off your GP (
BD, yes, I'm in Oldham. I had the op at St Mary's Manchester.

PP, thanks for the advice. I haven't heard from The Christie yet, but as I no longer "have cancer", I guess I'm not a priority case, which suits me

Used to live in Dobcross but now back in Eccles. Had my op at the Christie. Daughter-in-law and I were in at th e same time. Same surname and first initial - had to be careful we did not get each other's medication. Good luck with your recovery. Take it easy and don't try rushing things.
All the best Baths. Thinking of you x
Looking forwards to welcoming you home, Baths. :)
Jourdain, I've been home since July 4th, but many thanks to you and all who are thinking of me ;)

PP, it's lovely to see you posting again, and your refs tom FFTMC always make me smile:) Sgt Troy is taking good care of me (yes I know he's the baddie really, but Terence Stamp was far more attractive than the others!

Blimey, BD. I bet the staff showed you and your DIL the utmost diligence.

P P, I sincerely hope I won't be prescribed many more drugs,..I take 19 per day as it is! All tips on what I need to expect at The Christie will be most welcome ;)
