I certainly remember when we won the World Cup 1966 as we got engaged that day! Hubby had one eye on the price tags on the rings in Samuels jewellers (haha) and the other on the portable TV behind the counter!

1966 was a little before my time but have seen plenty of footage to respect them, lets hope our current bunch can do us proud in the Euro's.

I remember it well...we were driving down to Kent for summer hols, and we were just going through London when winning goal was scored. I remember how pleased my Dad was....he was deaf, so he only got clues of what was going on from me, Mum and bro.
