Had An email from his wife, he had the operation yesterday morning and is recovering well. He hopes to be 'let loose' on Friday. I expect we'll here from him later today.

It must be pretty frustrating for both of them. Retro waited patiently for his op and now they won't let him go.

Send them both my best wishes - hospital is an unnatural environment. I hope that his kidneys do their stuff soon.

Just to let you know Retro was released yesterday so is happily ensconced with his wife at home and hoping to quickly be back to normal. I dare say he will be posting later on today. Mrs R said To pass on thanks for all you good wishes.
