Yes, I buy an English one and a Scottish one every year. I prefer the Scottish one. It has 4 petals and no silly leaf.

Isn't the whole point of buying and wearing a poppy to remember those that have died and raise fund for soldiers that need support? What does it matter then if Scotland has a slightly different poppy to England?

I actually took a handful of poppies to dad , he was laid to rest 10th ..I went up next day to give them to him....
I knit poppies every year - red with a black centre and they have four "leaves". I also attach a pin on the back. I usually sell these to friends/family and all proceeds go to Help for Heroes.

and yesterday I named a star for him..called "daddy bear" in the aquarian constellation...
