I find twitter is usually the best source of up-to-the-minute info - that can be news for which the BBC etc. only have sketchy details or choose not to cover, and also for other things such as last year when the launch of a particular smartphone was delayed; by using twitter I was able to discover why it had been delayed and when it would finally be released, info that was not available by looking at the regular websites including that of the company from which I was getting it.

I guess I'm a bit of a dinosaur with things like that, I can't bear to be in touch with everything all of the time...

I have an account but as of yet I haven't found any useful purpose for it, I keep getting tweets from people I dont know or even want to know.

Im probably just not using it enough to take full advantage.
