Well, she should go to prison but weird things are happening in this country so I won't hold my breath.

//She should go to prison// Good grief, the prisons are overflowing as it is without jailing someone for defacing a painting. It will be cleaned.

^ Seems you didn't watch the video

I`m surprised it wasnt better protected.

And the shredded canvass will be repaired so you'd never see the joins?

Maybe not prison but hopefully a hard time and a big fine plus community service. But maybe there will be some reason found to not charge anyone

Watch the video?  I don't have a scooby who Lord Balfour is so why would I bother?  Probably just another upper class ***.

She should be made to repair and clean the painting that she sprayed  and slashed.

If you'd watched it you'd realise it needs more than a clean

an unremarkable painting of a terrible person... how many of us were even aware that it existed? i do not believe it is any great loss.

"a land without a people for a people without a land" only makes sense if you do not consider palestinians people... they didn't then and they don't now

untitled - mind you don't fall off your high horse. You might break your neck.

and you'd hate that wouldn't you dave? ;)

This really is serious damage not like throwing soup at a picture behing glass. It will cost many thousands of pounds to repair.

Nothing less than a long custodial sentence will suffice.

Untitled; I don't know if puerility is against the Site Rules but your 06:26 post is worthy of first prize.

'Against stupidity the very gods themselves contend in vain.'

Friedrich Schiller

i won't take any lectures from you khandro that's for sure

What a moronic selfish act by a self righteous activist. She must be caught and prosecuted.

You should, untitled.  Khandro is talking more sense than you.  This is an act of morons.
