Avatars

Why do some people here show avatars which are photos of their heroes? E.G. Johnson, Farridge, Thatcher, etc. It seems a bit puerile to me. Sorry if I offend some people, but I do find it odd.

Time to get yourself an avatar, Atheist? This, perhaps?

I think it's difficult here to get it right tbh, I've had pics of myself, artwork, cartoons, symbols, jokes, just weird stuff I like but I've never managed to find anything I really like and that represent me. I think by and large people's avatars are interesting though and I don't many puerile unless I particularly hate the subject matter (Nigel Farage for example is the epitome of naff) but even then he's clearly someone's hero so who am I to crush their fanboying x
You only 'think' that he's handsome, Susan? I'm sure that Frankie knows he is!

I mean, I can see why Calico would like to be seen as an attractive female, and Khandro like a mean dude, but why would anyone want to be seen as a frog? I'll try to dig out an old self-portrait - at least that would be me. I never have liked to identify with 'teams' or 'gangs' or Che icons. Nor would I want to portray myself as God, like OG and AOG. God bless you all.
