We went last year and had no difficulty. most spoke English. We had a lovely time there

By the way.. St wenceslaus square isn't a square at all it is just a very long lovely boulevarde lined by shops and cafes and bars.

Try and go to the opera we went and its so cheap even for the best seats. We cant afford to go in England.

It was alovely experience.the architecture is wonderful

Local transport is very good you can buy a  one or three day pass at newsagents and they cover you for  all train tram bus and fernicular  transport, extremely good value

That sould be FUNICULAR  lol

Thanks!!

Went there two weeks ago, everyone speaks some English, lap dancing clubs are fantastic. All the high street names are there. Yes it is still so very cheap.

People who are used to dealing with visitors, particularly the younger ones, speak English.  There is always an English speaker not too far away, although you might have to use sign language in the shops.  Don't miss the opportunity to use the taxis.  The ones I have used are driven by people who are so proud of their country that you get a free detour to see places of interest.  Outside the city, English speakers are less common.
