Morning Kit, Robi, Vinny, Shaney, Jno, Maggie & Neti & Boo Hope you are recovering Shaney. I don't think I will have another pet because I go out quite a lot and think it wouldn't be fair.
Good to see you Boo I don't go on the other topics so I only get to see you on here. Hope all goes well with the grandchild. I have 2 grandchildren aged 20 and 24. Stick with us.
Do you really have a water level alarm fitted Vinny or is that a joke!
Hope you get your CH sorted Maggie you would be very welcome to use my spare room until it's mended. Haven't switched mine on yet. The truth is I'm not really sure what to do. lol.
I'm off now. See you later :o)

yep jude its got a suction on the back, just stick it near the top and when the water reaches it,the alarm goes off.I got it off the net a couple of years ago.I could do with a smaller version fer me beer mug hehe..!yo
They took the house down in Atlantic Village..yo but its going on tour.No nicking the wooly cakes you lot up in derby..(:O)
Maggie, you could get jude's gardener to fix the plumbing, and your plumber could trim jude's bush hehe..!(:O)
oi, who blobbyfied my house?!

is there anybody out there?
[peers through the mist]....very autumnal today.
now come on maggie...toughen up old girl - ain't that cold, tut. You can't have forgotten ice on the bedroom windows? And the tops popping out of your milkbottles?
Hope you get it fixed. :o)

so sorry about your friend Kit...sometimes, on days like today, I stand & stare at a dewy spider's web & wonder how you'd describe it to someone who can't see. I'm thankful for my sight & hearing everyday.
lol B00...I've got 20 in 5p's....it's me custard fund but I suppose I can live without them for one day.

I can't stand (insert word) noise either...and what do men do in their garages that makes an awful high pitched 'cutting' sound pray tell? 'cos every booger around here seems to be part of this mysterious club.

Vin have you got a becks level alarm at the back of your eyes?...haha
poop...I reckon he's got a Robi alarm as well...

(:o)
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness ....and foghorns blasting in yer lughole !
I have a person like that nearby Robinia ...shriek ..whine and buzz for hours on end ...I often wonder what he is building ..he must have cut enough wood to build a small town .

My eldest brother is losing his sight ...but with him it's macular degeneration .He is nearly 77.He is finding it difficult to use the computer nowadays so I get a lot of garble sometimes in a sort of Norfolk/ Ozzie twang and a lot of use of the word bl00dy.
Mornin folks- no wait...afternoon now ;-)

Jude good to see you, you don't go in any other topics? Oh you should, You must come in B&S and watch the squabbles, they amazing! And its NOT true that I start 99% of 'em- lol.

Nice weather here today- going to Bury market soon, we recently bought a wreak of a campervan to do up, so we're going looking at upholstery for the curtains and the sofa bed thingymejig. Should be a laugh as I can't even sew....any of you lot any good at it? (hint, hint!)
Don't look at me Boo ..anything I sew comes apart five minutes later . I can't even keep a button on me libby for more than half an hour .
hands shaney a safety pin
yes, we'd prefer not to see you burstin' out all over thank you

I used to sew a lot & sometimes made clothes for
my family
but I don't see so much of them nowadays....
the bad news now is I can't pick my sewing machine up & put it on the table :o/

Well I can pick mine up and put it on the table, it's just that the bl00dy thing won't work when I've done it. Had it mended and it cost 50 but still doesn't work.
Haha I've got one of these Heath Robinson type ones
http://www.ci.palmer-lake.co.us/plhs/images/se wing-machine.jpg
It was my Mums ..and It's in the hall ..where I flick a duster over it now and again !
You can guarantee when I thread a bit of cotton in a needle a knot in the bloomin ' cotton appears by magic ....and then the cotton will break ....and then the air is blue !
lol, that's very similar to mine - we're all mod cons eh?
not a treadle obviously or I wouldn't want to put it on the table..would I? :o)

I have borrowed my sister's leccy one in the past but she took it off me - probably to stop me making her nice crimplene outfits...tut.

When I was small I had one of those junior machines that made a running 'lazy daisy' stitch. One false tug of the cotton when you'd done & whoooosh...all your bl00dy sewing vanished & you were left with the perforations!

I've just read Vinny's post ..lol...I see he's revving up for the Saturday night Becksfest .....perhaps we shouldn't have mentioned the word knots ......I suppose the brekkie will be late yet again and lights left on all over the place ...sigh .
