I am running IE with Outlook Express 6 for emails, I have just found out that I have been sent some very important emails that I have never read because for some reason they have been put in the
deleted items file straight away, why has this happened & how can I stop it happening?
In easy to understand terms please as I am a computer learner.

Click on the tools menu, select message rules then blocked senders list and make sure the email address that is sending the mail is not listed there.

Thanks Chuck I have just tried that & their name or email address is definitely not
on the list, I just phoned the company and asked them to send me 2 or 3 test emails
which they did & they were both delivered to the deleted items folder.
It can only be 3 things in OE

Blocked senders (check that already)

Message rule, to check these go back to the blocked senders list but click on the message rules tab and delete any rules you might have

Thanks Chuck your second answer seems to have solved the problem.
Very grateful for you help! Cheers..
Yes, although you maybe don't have a rule blocking their address, you may have one blocking say, "casino". If their email contains the word casino, the message will be bound by the rule you have set.
