I receive random emails relating to stock shares news and other random info every day, and each email has a new and muddled email address as the sender. I am now receiving fake 'postmaster returned' or 'Mailerdaemon' emails too. My computer dos not recognise any virus so how did I suddenly get on the receiving end of these? I'm wondering if it's linked to joining Monster.co.uk as it seemed to start after I posted my CV. How can I stop these other than to bar every email that comes through like this and hope they run out of new email adresses?

your spam filters should get them?

what email thingy are you using, and who provides the email?
I started to recieve similar emails a few months ago and asked some of the guys that work with me in IT what might be causing it. It turns out that someone has stolen my email address and is using it to bulk mail junk mail hence the 'postmaster returned' or 'mailerdaemon'. Get up to 50 a day only way to stop this is to change your email account tried the setting up rules for spam but they keep coming in with different email addresses so they get thru.
Some would suggest you return the e-mails to the sender unanswered.

It was originally freeserve but now it has changed to Orange as they bought it over. I have a spam filter and also AVG virus check programme but nothing works. It's driving me MAD!
I have the same coming in I cant get rid of it I sent it back but it was returned its driving me mad I just am deleting them at the moment
No point emailing the sender of the postmaster amails as they are innocent recipients of emails sent from your stolen email address.
I get 10-20 a day and they're a friggin nuisance.
