What do you use?.. I'm an Android fan and don't understand why people gush over the latest Apple iPhones, and people Q up to pay almost a £1000 for them.

Worth a read, I think:

I'll stick with Android simply because I'm an impecunious skinflint! (I'm amazed when I see phones retailing at £300+ described as 'budget' models. That's 'expensive' to me. I won't much more than a hundred quid for a phone, so I certainly won't be buying an iPhone!)
Couldn't agree more!
I couldn't care less. As long as I can text and call easily I'll have any phone.

I have an iphone but it's supplied by work.
Android for me.

I buy the cheapest phone which will do the job well - Motorola G.

I also buy the cheapest Android, it'll last a few years, but does the same as an Apple but cost less over time if it has to be replaced.
I have both an iPhone and an iPad. Recently, I needed to replace my phone but I stuck with Apple as my phone and tablet kind of connect to each other (photos, game progress - not important but stuff I’ve gotten used).
The Gadget show last night featured 2 different makes of phone, both Android, 1 a Huawei P20. There were even differences to what each could do.
Sherry, I have an Android phone and an iPad. Photos, files, games are synched no problem - they both synch with my Windows devices, too
I eat apples. My mobile tech tends to be android. One pays less excess for the name then.
I have a Huawei phone (had it 2 years). Would never go back to iPhone.
Android because there's easier access to Apps etc and everything seems to be compatible with Android. I know this is a very sweeping statement but I find it's mainly men who rant and rave over apple, my husband wouldn't have anything else.
I've always used Android. Never had any experience with Apple products.
I'm still using 2G, calls and texts only, who needs all the other tosh !!!!
I do, Puzzle.
all mobiles in adverts now are just showing what their cameras can do seems making a call is something of an add on,
You are right derek, I have a Huawei which has a superb camera but when I do change I will go back to Samsung because I don't like the functionality of the Huawei actual phone bit.
You use your mobile to call people? How quaint.
I have a OnePlus 3T, four years old and never a problem with it. I have only had to turn it off and reboot it for updates. Not the cheapest of Androids but I'll be sticking with OnePlus
I'm on whatever my grandchildren hand down to me. Currently iphone. :-)
It's because the guilable and shallow like to be seen as having what they think is the most fashionable phone, whatever the cost.
