I recently got paper jammed in printer managed to pull sheet of paper out intact from front upper tray since it has had error paper jam also scanner not working now any advise is it salvageable please.

make sure you got all the bits out, unplug and completely reinstall using the latest driver from the Canon website for your version of Windows - this will solve 99% of problems.
